In 1977 Scott graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Business, majoring in Operations Research, Accounting and Economics. His first program (Algol) was written in 1974. After graduating he became a Company Accountant before learning to program and develop Management Systems. He has held positions as Programmer, Analyst, Systems Analyst, Designer, Applications Development Manager, Project Manager, Business Analyst, ERP Business Analyst, Sales Representative (Imaging) and IT Consultant. He now has a combined total of 38 years experience in the IT industry worldwide.
Scott has been contracted to Shell Oil, Reuters and Rank Xerox. He has also contracted to many smaller companies.
Scott has always put emphasis on minimising costs and maximising profits as a direct result of his Operations Research Business training. This business approach to IT is reflected in his functional approach to IT Consultancy. His total approach -
